Have you ever wanted to run through the jungle with the wind in your hair and the sand at your feet, as Savage Garden did?

You can on July 30, 2022 at Cebu Safari and Adventure Park. Get ready to run, carry, and crawl through the lush hills of Carmen at the Go Race Cebu obstacle trail race organized in partnership with Cebu Business Month, the flagship event of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The race course has been carefully mapped out for the ultimate fun and safety of the participants. Safety marshals and first aiders shall be stationed along the trail, and two Pocari hydration stations will be available. Participants are advised to wear appropriate athletic shoes and comfortable sports attire—the race will push through whether rain or shine.

Beginner and intermediate athletes are all welcome to join. Race categories include 3K for family bundles, 6K, and 12K. Children must be aged 4 to 12 years old to be considered for the family bundle. Not only will all finishers get a race singlet, a medal, and loot from event partners, but they’ll also get whole day access to the park after the race. The safari is home to over 1,000 animals, and racers will definitely see some of them while traversing the obstacle trail. Participants have the option to book an overnight stay in the Safari’s accommodations.

While outside food is discouraged from being brought to the park, there are numerous restaurants and food kiosks with affordable options available. Participants are reminded not to use flash when taking photos of the animals, and pets will need to stay at home.

Physical registration will be available at Runnr in Ayala Center Cebu and at the Safari starting July 23. Online and site registration will close on July 23. Early birds have already registered online and slots are almost at capacity, so register right away if you still want to join. Payments are accepted via bank transfer and Maya.
